Updates on 1.22.2008

Today I bought a stock and realized that I need a little bit of clarification. I have been using the same type of language for my stock picks, and I am now going to change that. Before... it said this ( I will use the stock for today as an example)

"If SNG open is less than or equal to 3.55, buy @ 3.35. Sell @ 3.52 or next day close, whichever comes first"

The caveats to this are:
If SNG opens @ less than the buy price (this case 3.35), buy at the open. Then, the sell price also changes, but keeps the same percentage gain. So if today i said buy @ 3.35 & sell @ 3.52 ,that yields a 5.0746% gain. Now, since SNG opened at 3.20, the new sell price is 3.2*(100%+5.0746%)=3.362388. We round this down (to be conservative) and have a new sell price of 3.36
